Hybrid chimney cowls

Work like ordinary wind turbines when wind conditions are sufficient, when not, electric motor speeds the cowl up to the rotating speed set.

Description

Hybrid Turbowent chimney cowls are devices, which, in a dynamic way, use force of the wind to increase chimney draught. They are also equipped with a low power brushless electric motor. When the wind speed is too small to achieve the desired efficiency, electric motor speeds the turbine up, when it is too strong it slows the turbine down. When the wind speed is strong enough to achieve the rotation speed set on the steering device, motor does not work, and cowl works just like the ordinary Turbowent.

Hybrid Ventilation is a system  based on natural ventilation supported by mechanical devices. Crucial device in the system is a hybrid chimney cowl, it provides proper chimney draught and, by means of regulating rotation speed, allows to set desired efficiency of ventilation. Precise guidelines on how to choose optimal devices for a certain building can be found in the designer’s guide.

It is used as a solution for individual, multi-storey and utility buildings.

  Hybrid Turbowent PLUS           

Ø 200-350 [mm]

It is designed for ventilation ducts in single- and multi- family housing. Special vanes mounted inside the turbine allow to increase efficiency as well as pressure created, making these Turbowents as effective, as  ventilators… still  keeping the values of low energy consumption and low emission of sound.

Inlet diameter 150 mm - it is used especially for ventilation chimneys situated very close to each other. This version is steered by a PC software.

Ø150 and 200 [mm] 

It is used as a solution for individual, multi-storey and utility buildings, steered by a PC software. 

Hybrid Solar Turbowent / Tulipan

To be mounted on ventilation ducts. Additionally equipped with a photovoltaic panel allowing it to work in windless, but sunny days.
